Richard’s hobby has always been writing. He started at the age of eight and later became a feature writer for his high school newspaper. After short stints as a professional tennis player, tennis instructor, and engineer, he entered law school and became an attorney. Today, he is a semi-retired patent litigator, a devoted father, and an actor in community theater. He has performed in such roles as Becket in Becket and Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. Twice, he has received best supporting actor nominations in his community. Henry Castlewaite and the Portrait of Doom is his first foray into novels. In its first professional book review, it received a 5-star rating and comes highly recommended. Richard hopes to create an entire series of books involving his young protagonist, Henry Castlewaite. Richard also does the artwork for his books.
